- Roman blinds can be fitted either inside the window recess for a sleek finish, or above the recess to make windows appear larger and allow space for a second blind behind – such as a roller or Venetian – for added functionality. You can also combine Roman blinds with coordinating curtains outside the recess to achieve a luxurious, layered effect and enhance insulation for cosier rooms during the colder months.
- Operating your Roman blinds is simple and smooth thanks to a robust sidewinder chain system. We prioritise child safety and offer two solutions to minimise risk. Our preferred method is a quick-release gear mechanism, which automatically detaches the chain from the headrail under tension – eliminating the need for wall fixings and offering safer, more ergonomic use. Traditional wall-fitted safety clips are also available to meet regulatory standards and offer peace of mind.
Supply Your Own Fabrics
Looking to create a fully coordinated look? In addition to our huge library of fabrics, you can also supply your own material. This is ideal if you’re already working with a specific décor scheme or have found the perfect pattern elsewhere. It doesn’t stop at blinds, we can create matching soft furnishings, including cushion covers, beanbags, bed throws and even upholstered headboards, for a completely bespoke and cohesive interior.
